Job Description:

As an Accountant at Solarity Plus Limited, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting operations, and supporting the financial strategy of the company. You will work closely with the finance team and assist in the preparation of financial reports, tax filings, and budgeting, all while helping the company achieve its goals of sustainability and growth in the solar energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial data.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Support the preparation and filing of tax returns in a timely manner.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the companys projects and initiatives.
• Help track project costs, revenues, and progress to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Work with project managers and senior leadership to provide financial insights for new and ongoing solar projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial controls.
• Support external audits and assist in preparing required documentation.
• Provide general accounting support as needed, ensuring accurate financial tracking of the companys solar projects and operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.
• Experience in project accounting, including cost tracking, financial forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month

Education:

• Higher National Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
