Job Summary:

We are looking for a Public Relations Officer (PRO) responsible for managing and enhancing the public image of the company and a personal brand. This role involves overseeing corporate communications, media relations, brand management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a consistent and positive reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Communication & Brand Management

· Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the companys corporate image.

· Craft and maintain the Chairmans brand identity, ensuring alignment with corporate values.

· Draft press releases, speeches, newsletters, and other communications on behalf of the company and Chairman.

· Ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external communication channels.

2. Media Relations & Publicity

· Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, and industry influencers.

· Monitor media coverage and ensure prompt responses to inquiries, interviews, and press events.

· Organize press conferences, media briefings, and corporate events to promote key initiatives.

· Prepare talking points and media statements for the Chairman and key executives.

3. Digital & Social Media Management

· Oversee social media presence, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.

· Develop engaging content for social media, websites, and blogs to maintain a strong online presence.

· Monitor online sentiment and respond to feedback, comments, or crises appropriately.

4. Crisis Communication & Reputation Management

· Develop crisis communication strategies and manage potential PR crises effectively.

· Act as the first point of contact for handling reputational risks or misinformation.

· Monitor news, trends, and public sentiment, providing proactive solutions to maintain a positive image.

5. Stakeholder & Community Engagement

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, business partners, and the public.

· Represent the Chairman and company at public events, conferences, and industry networking gatherings.

· Develop corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to enhance the companys public perception.

6. Internal Communication & Team Collaboration

· Work with internal teams (Marketing, HR, and Business Development) to ensure unified communication efforts.

· Organize internal newsletters and briefings to keep employees informed about corporate developments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong media relations and networking abilities.

Proficiency in social media management and digital PR.

Ability to handle crisis communication effectively.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Creativity in crafting engaging content and storytelling.

Knowledge of branding and corporate identity management.

Software Proficiency: Experience with PR tools, social media management platforms and tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
