Job Summary

AT Limited is currently seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Accountant for our client in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper bookkeeping procedures.
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and other statutory remittances.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate tax deductions.
    • Utilize accounting software for financial data management and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Gross
