Our client is a growing company in the Agriculture/Manufacturing industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and services. Due to expansion, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team.

Location: Benin-city

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial records.

- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for the organization.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and assist with tax-related matters.

- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational decisions.

- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable/receivable processes effectively.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy in inventory and cost accounting.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an Accountant in a similar industry.

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ICAN or ACCA certification is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.

- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, or any relevant software

- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies and errors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Must reside in Benin or be willing to relocate to Benin.
