Job Summary

We seek a suitable candidate for this position. The ideal candidate will attend to call-outs and interventions, carry out planned preventive maintenance, overhaul and implement projects, execute Service Level Agreements on pieces of machinery, production lines, and plants, execute turnkey projects, carry out plant and machinery surveys, ensure Health, Safety & Environment compliance on all activities at customers sites

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, analyze, and review EPLAN, PLC, HMI/SCADA programs using functional design specifications and P&ID.
  • Create, build, and deploy industrial automation solutions that are in line with project specifications and industry benchmarks, establishing thorough and effective automation architectures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution (including startup and commissioning) of automation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist with production line development to acquire cycle times needed, and electrical cost estimates to develop controls on new machines built from conceptual stages.
  • Write manual documentation to include the sequence of operation and troubleshooting sections.
  • PLC, HMI/SCADA Program Development, VFD integration, and control systems integration and upgrades for all ADECO existing and new customers.
  • Participate in or lead HAZOP studies, FAT, risk analyses, and risk mitigation as it affects production output and humans.
  • Monitoring equipment and process parameters, planning upgrades and maintenance, and developing and implementing changes that improve uptime and output quality.
  • Ensure all Adeco staff and contractors obey safety rules and regulations and make use of applicable PPE always to reduce chances of incidents/accidents
  • Ensure project plan and schedule are adhered to, to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Assist in driving actions to achieve the companys quality objectives.
    • Any other tasks assigned.

  • 2-3 years experience
  • Degree in Engineering
