Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, PHP Laravel, React, Angular, CodeIgniter)

Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in Java, PHP Laravel, CodeIgniter, React, and Angular. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications. This is a remote position open to residents in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will work across both the front-end and back-end, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using PHP Laravel, CodeIgniter, React, and Angular.
• Build and optimize both server-side and client-side architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and usability.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to connect front-end components with back-end systems.
• Lead the development and integration of user-facing features, ensuring smooth interactions and high-performance systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and business development, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure the maintenance of clean, efficient, and reusable code while following best practices for software development.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and setting technical standards within the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process, including automation, testing, and deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• PHP Development: Proficient in PHP, with a deep understanding of Laravel and CodeIgniter for back-end application development.
• Front-End Frameworks: Expertise in React and Angular for building responsive, dynamic user interfaces.
• Java Development: Strong experience working with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) for back-end development.
• API Development: Extensive experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, etc.).
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git for code versioning.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Experience working closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of performance tuning and optimizing both front-end and back-end applications.
• Problem Solving: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Full Software Development Lifecycle: Strong experience with Agile methodologies and working in sprint cycles.
• Education: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks and TDD (Test-Driven Development).
• Previous experience with POS systems or similar transactional systems is a plus.
