Job Description/Requirements

Job Title: Technical Service Manager

Location: Victoria Island

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Service Manager with expertise in high-end appliances and strong leadership experience. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical skills with the ability to mentor teams, develop operational procedures, and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain premium domestic and professional appliances to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Lead and train technical teams, fostering a culture of efficiency, continuous improvement, and adherence to company-developed SOPs.
  • Design, supervise, and maintain advanced systems ( solar power installations) alongside appliance-related projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, electricians, and plumbers to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards.
  • Conduct functional tests, review electrical circuits, and resolve complex technical issues (e.g., short circuits).
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce machine downtime and optimize repair processes.
  • Manage documentation including invoices, test results, safety checks, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
    • Submit detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in the premium appliance industry, including Field Service Engineer and Technical Supervisor roles.
  • Proven track record in developing SOPs, leading technical teams, and delivering hands-on training/seminars.
  • Experience designing/supervising renewable energy systems is a strong advantage.
  • Expertise in electrical circuit analysis, fault diagnosis, and repair of high-end appliances.
    • International exposure and adapting to global engineering standards.
