As a Software Engineer at Kobi , youll be a key player in shaping a platform that will redefine secure transactions. Youll collaborate closely with product managers, fellow engineers, and leadership to deliver a user-friendly app that our users can rely on. Roles : Contract to Hire or Full time

Key Responsibilities

If you have experience building fintech applications, integrating Google Cloud services, optimizing Flutter applications for high-concurrency transactions, and collaborating across engineering teams, this role offers the opportunity to build at scale from the ground up.

Bonus: Experience with native iOS/Android development, backend APIs, or security frameworks is a plus!

? Frontend & Mobile Development

• Develop & optimize Flutter apps for Android, iOS, and Web using BLoC or Riverpod for scalable state management.
• Ensure pixel-perfect UI/UX , high performance, and adaptive UI across devices.
• Implement real-time updates , biometric authentication , and secure local storage for user sessions.
• Design modular, reusable components and ensure frontend codebase is structured, clean, and scalable .
• Improve performance by optimizing Flutter animations, rendering, and API calls.

• ? Backend & API Integrations
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high-performance and secure data exchange.Ensure real-time data synchronization using WebSockets, GraphQL, or Firebase .
• Implement backend abstractions that allow easy migration from third-party dependencies to native backend solutions.
• Microservices Architecture: Design and implement modular, scalable microservices to handle payments, authentication, and other transactions.
• . Database Management: Utilize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firestore for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Authentication & Security: Implement OAuth, JWT, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and tokenization for user security.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure low-latency API responses and database query optimization.

• ? Security & Compliance
• Implement data encryption (AES-256), secure authentication (OAuth/JWT), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) .
• Ensure adherence to NDPR, GDPR, and PCI-DSS for handling financial transactions.
• Collaborate with security teams to prevent fraud, enforce rate limiting, and implement real-time monitoring .
• Work on secure API interactions, token management, and client-side encryption for data protection.

• Scalability, Performance & Architecture
• Design scalable frontend architecture that supports seamless expansion to native backend systems .
• Ensure low-latency interactions and fast load times by caching requests , optimizing UI rendering, and reducing app footprint.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, quality assurance, and stable rollouts.
• Work with backend teams to define efficient database structures and indexing strategies for speed and reliability.
• ? Documentation & Collaboration
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend architecture, API integrations, and security protocols.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure a seamless payment experience.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and system architecture discussions .
• Document frontend-to-backend workflows , API dependencies, and versioning strategies for maintainability.
