Chief Operating Officer

MitiMeth is looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team and drive our strategic and operational objectives during this critical scale-up phase. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of MitiMeth, ensuring our expansion plans are effectively executed and our business processes are optimized. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional management skills and a proven track record of scaling businesses. The COO must have a strong background in operational leadership, D2C retail expansion, and B2B growth, along with a passion for social enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily operations, including manufacturing, procurement, sales and marketing.
• Ensure all operations are carried out efficiently and in line with the company’s goals and values.
• Lead the establishment and management of new retail locations, ensuring seamless integration into the company’s operations.
• Drive the growth of B2B transactions, developing strategies to expand our market presence and partnerships.
• Optimize D2C Retail operations to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set and execute the company’s strategic vision.
• Monitor and evaluate operational performance, implementing improvements as needed.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to support the company’s growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Leadership and Development:

• Lead and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to drive accountability and growth.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, community partners, and investors.
• Represent MitiMeth at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Business Administration, Operations or a relevant field.
• MSc/MBA is a plus
• Proven experience as COO or a similar senior leadership role in a scaling business.
• Demonstrable experience in D2C retail expansion and B2B growth.
• Experience in the social enterprise sector or manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
