Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Virtual Igbo Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality online instruction to students, creating engaging and interactive Igbo lesson plans, and providing personalized support and feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Instruction: Deliver live and pre-recorded online lessons to students, using digital tools and platforms.

2. Lesson Planning: Create and develop engaging and interactive lesson plans, aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.

3. Student Support: Provide personalized support and feedback to students, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

4. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.

5. Communication: Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues through email, phone, and video conferencing.

6. Technical Support: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to students and colleagues as needed.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Education or related field..

2. Teaching Experience: Minimum 2 years of Igbo teaching experience (online teaching experience preferred).

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including learning management systems (LMS) and video conferencing software.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Online Teaching Certification: Certification in online teaching and learning (e.g. Online Teaching Certification, OTC).

2. Experience with Learning Management Systems: Experience with LMS platforms (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard).
