Job Title: Business Development Officer - Bids & Tender

Location: D-Line, Port Harcourt

Business: Oil & Gas Services

Salary: 180,000 - 200,000

Employment Type: Full-time

SummaryThe Business Development Officer will play a crucial role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities through effective bid management and tendering processes.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to generate leads, pitch the companys products or services, and close deals.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential tender opportunities relevant to the companys products/services
• Manage the bid submission process, including online submissions, hard copy deliveries, and presentations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, procurement officers, and stakeholders.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and clarify requirements.

Requirements / Skill

• Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or in a relevant field
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in business development or bid management relevant industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦180,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Harcourt: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Business Development/Tendering: 4 years (Required)
