Business Development Executive - Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement
Employment type: Onsite/Hybrid
Budget: N350,000 - 450,000
Job Purpose:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving the sales and business growth of the companys Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement solutions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, developing sales strategies, and working closely with technical teams to deliver cutting-edge Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
o Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities within the Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement sector.
o Analyze competitive landscape and industry developments to position the companys solutions effectively.
o Identify and qualify new leads and sales opportunities.
2. Sales & Business Development:
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth in cybersecurity services.
o Engage with prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements and present relevant solutions.
o Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
o Collaborate with technical and project management teams to deliver customized solutions to clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
o Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction with delivered Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement solutions.
o Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve any service issues or escalations.
4. Product Knowledge & Training:
o Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity products, services, and industry trends.
o Provide input into product development and service offerings based on client feedback and market demand.
o Conduct product demonstrations and training for clients to showcase the companys Cybersecurity Solutions/ Cloud Automation / Customer Engagement solutions.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
o Work closely with marketing, technical, and product teams to develop promotional materials and go-to-market strategies.
o Report on sales activities, opportunities, pipeline development, and forecasts to senior management.
o Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the companys cybersecurity expertise.

Skills & Qualifications:
· Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience:
o Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within cybersecurity or IT solutions.
o Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and solutions, such as firewalls, network security, threat detection, and endpoint protection.
o Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating large contracts.
· Skills:
o Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
o Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
o Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
o Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
Preferred:
· Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or experience working with cybersecurity vendors or solutions.
