Job Title: Hotel Manager

Location: CrownCity Resort, Agbara, Nigeria

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary : #275,000-#350,000

CrownCity is seeking an experienced and visionary Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our resort. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining a world-class standard of service. This role demands a hands-on leader with deep hospitality expertise, a passion for excellence, and the ability to inspire a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Experience Management

  • Create a unique and personalized guest experience that reflects CrownCity Resorts commitment to luxury and West African hospitality.
  • Oversee guest services, ensuring attention to detail in every interaction to exceed guest expectations.
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance guest satisfaction, including cultural experiences, personalized services, and exclusive offerings.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback from reviews, surveys, and social media to identify trends and areas for improvement.

2. Operational Management

  • Lead the daily operations of all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa, maintenance, and the outdoor garden brunch café.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of traditional West African aesthetics and contemporary luxury standards in all areas of operation.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to CrownCity Resorts unique identity.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews and audits to ensure optimal efficiency and quality across the resort.

3. Financial Performance

  • Prepare and manage budgets to align with CrownCity Resorts financial goals and strategic vision.
  • Optimize revenue by analyzing occupancy trends, pricing strategies, and upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), control expenses, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Introduce innovative cost-saving measures while maintaining the resorts premium standards.

4. Team Leadership and Development

  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team committed to CrownCity Resorts mission of delivering unparalleled hospitality.
  • Recruit and train staff with a focus on professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and exceptional service standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment through regular team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews to ensure team members achieve their potential.

5. Sales and Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to create tailored campaigns that highlight the resorts unique offerings.
  • Collaborate on promotions that emphasize the cultural and natural beauty of the resort attracting both local and international guests.
  • Represent CrownCity Resort at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and brand recognition.
  • Drive initiatives to increase direct bookings and leverage digital platforms to reach targeted markets.

6. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and hospitality industry standards.
  • Maintain the resorts physical infrastructure to reflect CrownCitys luxurious image, overseeing maintenance and property upgrades as needed.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and risk management protocols to protect guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the resort maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a luxury or resort setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to achieve operational and financial goals in a competitive market.
  • Expertise in hospitality management software and analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of Nigerian culture and the ability to incorporate traditional elements into the guest experience.
