Job Description: Board Games, Playground Games, and Games Instructor

We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and enthusiastic instructor passionate about engaging children in creative and educational gameplay. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing children to structured games and activities that enhance their cognitive, social, and physical skills while promoting teamwork, strategic thinking, and fun.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging sessions that incorporate board games, playground activities, and team-building exercises tailored to childrens age groups and abilities.
• Educate and guide students on the rules, strategies, and benefits of various games, fostering a sense of fair play and collaboration.
• Evaluate and assess students participation and progress in games, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Effectively communicate with parents regarding students participation, performance, and areas of growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children during gameplay, maintaining a calm and patient demeanor to address any conflicts or challenges.
• Plan, organize, and maintain an inventory of board games and playground equipment, ensuring resources are in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school management to align activities with the schools educational goals and development plans.
• Promote creativity and critical thinking through innovative game activities, encouraging children to explore and learn through play.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a strong love for children and a passion for teaching through play.
• Proven experience working with children in a teaching, coaching, or caregiving capacity.
• Knowledge of various board games, playground games, and team-building activities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive in managing childrens behaviors and group dynamics.
• A strong desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children through engaging and educational play.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing lesson plans or structured activity programs for children.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.
• Background in physical education, recreation, or related fields is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦300,000.00 per month
