About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Digital Illustrator / Storyboard Artist with expertise in character illustration, storyboard art, and digital painting . You will play a key role in developing concept art, background art, character turnarounds, and key visuals for animation and media projects.

The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of human anatomy, colour theory, storytelling , and the ability to work effectively within a production pipeline . This is a full-time, fully remote position with a fixed contract .

Responsibilities

• Create character designs and turnarounds for animation production.
• Develop digital paintings for background art and concept art.
• Produce key art for use in the animation production pipeline.
• Design original storyboards to visualise scripts and narratives.
• Assist in character development refinement and maintain uniformity in production.
• Establish a consistent look development (lookdev) and colour scheme for projects.
• Ensure a strong understanding of human anatomy and colour theory in all work.

Requirements

• Strong grasp of human anatomy and concept art .
• Proficient in colour theory and digital painting .
• Solid understanding of perspective and shot layout .
• Firm understanding of storytelling and visual narrative .
• Strong portfolio demonstrating illustration, concept art, and storytelling skills .
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow a production pipeline .
• Creative, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience with illustration software : Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop .
• Ability to train and pass knowledge to others.
