the Job Description
We seek a highly organized, proactive, and dedicated Content Writer who will also serve as Personal Assistant to support our CEO in Abuja, managing daily activities, streamlining operations, and ensuring effective time management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. The Personal Assistant/Content Writer will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the CEO and serve as a liaison officer between Abuja-based clients and the Main Office in Lagos.
We are looking for someone passionate about working in a dynamic environment, able to juggle multiple priorities, and is keen to grow within the company.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background as a content writer to write, edit, format content of various forms for MD.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the CEOs schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate and prioritize internal and external meetings, ensuring effective time management.
- Liaise with Abuja clients and the Lagos office on marketing materials, tasks, and creatives.
- Draft, review, and manage correspondence, emails, and documents on behalf of the CEO.
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Write, edit, and format content including content plan, press releases, proposals, and others.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items as required.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist the CEO with presentations including text and electronic presentations.
- Create and maintain a system for organizing and storing both electronic and hard-copy information and records and implement record retention policies and procedures.
- Assist with basic project management and follow-up on deliverables from the Marketing department.
- Prepare a variety of high quality, written agreements, memos, letters, and other documents
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
- Highly creative mindset and the ability to develop great ideas
- Ability to handle social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok)
-Ability to stay updated with industry trends, new content formats and best practices in writing
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field
Requirements
- Proven experience as a content writer, especially in content marketing and social media management.
- Proven experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Must live in Gwarinpa, Abuja or its environs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and media industry trends is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to take initiative.
The position is a 6 months contract term.
