Job Description:
Position: Early Years Teacher
Location: COSOM Nursery and Primary School, Ado Soba, Amuwo Odofin LGA, Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to the learning needs of young children.
- Establish a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that promotes learning.
- Encourage the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children through play-based activities and hands-on experiences.
- Monitor student progress and offer feedback to parents and guardians.
- Work in collaboration with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience and foster a unified learning atmosphere.
- Plan and engage in extracurricular activities that support the overall growth of children.
- Keep precise records of students accomplishments and behavior.
- Communicate clearly with parents about their childs progress and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or relevant teaching qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices will help facilitate your application.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a nursery or primary school setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation for early years education.
