Part-Time French Teacher (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated French Teacher to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong passion for teaching, a deep understanding of the French

language and culture, and the ability to inspire students of all proficiency levels.

Responsibilities

● Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons to students (beginner to

advanced levels).

● Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to develop students speaking,

listening, reading, and writing skills.

● Design lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each student or group.

● Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students understanding of

Francophone traditions and lifestyle.

● Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and evaluations, providing

constructive feedback.

● Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation

and growth.

● Stay updated with teaching methodologies and integrate technology into the

classroom as needed.

● Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

● Bachelors degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. A masters

degree is a plus.

● Fluency in French (native or near-native proficiency) and English.

● Prior teaching experience (classroom, online, or one-on-one tutoring).

● Strong understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

● Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

● Proficiency in using educational tools and technology (e.g., LMS, virtual classrooms,

language apps, multimedia resources).

● Certification in French as a second language (e.g., DELF, DALF, TEFL) is an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From ₦150,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
