About Us:

Gourmet Twist is a high end restaurant and culinary brand on the island. We are looking for an Accounting Officer.

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Officer to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and contribute to the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day financial transactions, reporting, and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.

2. Process invoices, payments, and receivables efficiently.

3. Prepare financial reports, budgets, and balance sheets.

4. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.

5. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filings.

6. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

7. Track expenses, monitor costs, and provide financial analysis to management.

8. Implement and improve accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

4. Must have worked in the hospitality industry
