Head of Trade Team

Company Overview:Nucleus Ventures, a leading organization in the import and trade of paper materials, is seeking an experienced Head of Trade Team to lead and manage our trade operations. We are looking for a dynamic professional who can ensure seamless trade processes, compliance, and efficiency in our import and trade activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the trade team to ensure smooth operations in import and trade activities.
• Complete Form M applications online with accuracy and efficiency.
• Interface with clearing agents, shipping lines, customs, NDLEA, and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in trade and import activities.
• Ensure timely documentation and clearance of goods, as well as adherence to trade regulations.
• Prepare and analyze reports using MS Excel for efficient decision-making and trade strategy.
• Drive innovation and improvement within the trade processes.
• Serve as a liaison between the trade team and other departments to enhance collaboration.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a member of a trade team, preferably within a banking environment.
• Extensive knowledge of completing Form M applications and managing import processes.
• Hands-on experience interfacing with clearing agents, shipping lines, customs, NDLEA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and trade operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦7,000,000.00 - ₦9,500,000.00 per year
