Job Type: Hybrid (Work from office only twice a week)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and innovative Senior Mobile Engineers to lead the design and development of Bazaras AI-powered mobile applications. This role is pivotal to delivering a seamless, secure, and scalable mobile experience that aligns with Bazaras Purpose-Driven Architecture and Software Engineering Excellence Framework. The ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in mobile development and a passion for leveraging AI to enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Integrate AI-driven features into the mobile app, leveraging backend APIs built with Spring Boot, Python, .NET and Node.js/NestJS.
• Optimize app performance, ensuring low latency, efficient resource utilization, and battery optimization.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver user-centric interfaces that align with accessibility standards and Bazaras core values.
• Establish and manage mobile CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement robust automated testing frameworks using Appium and Cypress.
• Monitor application performance and reliability using tools like Datadog and ELK Stack.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, including data protection and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in mobile application development, with expertise in React Native and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of integrating AI-driven features into mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Commitment to Bazaras core values of innovation, engineering excellence, and customer focus.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Key Tools and Technologies:

• Languages and Frameworks: React Native, TypeScript.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Appium, Cypress, Zephyr.
• CI/CD and Automation: GitHub Actions, Docker.
• Monitoring and Analytics: Datadog, ELK Stack.
• Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Teams.

Preference

• Experience building financial services solutions
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor AI for enhancing development productivity.
• Knowledge of secure development practices and compliance in mobile banking.
• 6+ years of experience in mobile app development.
• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and working with AI/ML-driven features.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
