Job Summary:Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled HR Generalist/Operations professional with proven experience in a factory setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing factory staff while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations to foster a productive and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled factory workers.
• Screen, interview, and onboard new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the workforce.
• Maintain an updated database of factory staff, including their skills and certifications.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Foster a positive working environment that aligns with company values.

HR Operations and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety regulations.
• Oversee timekeeping, attendance, and payroll processes for factory staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records and documentation.

Training and Development:

• Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs for factory employees.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for staff improvement.
• Develop and implement career progression plans for factory workers.

Operations Support:

• Collaborate with factory management to align HR strategies with operational goals.
• Monitor and address absenteeism and turnover rates, recommending improvements.
• Ensure workplace safety standards and promote a culture of compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦180,000.00 per month
