We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to oversee the administrative operations within our kitchen department. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, be proficient in Google Sheets, and possess a solid accounting background. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate records, supporting financial processes, and ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen team and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administrative tasks for the kitchen department, including scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Perform accurate data entry to maintain updated records of inventory, orders, invoices, and expense reports.
- Utilize Google Sheets to create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets for tracking kitchen operations and financial data.
- Assist with budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting by applying accounting principles.
- Coordinate communications between kitchen staff, vendors, and internal departments.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on key performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain both digital and physical filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Ensure all administrative practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the culinary or hospitality industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in kitchen or food service administration.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting software.
