Corporate Van Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation:
• Drive company vans responsibly, avoiding abuse, theft, neglect, or misuse of the vehicle.
• Ensure all journeys comply with traffic laws and regulations.
• Adhere to all current safety requirements and utilise safe driving techniques.
• Use seat belts at all times for both driver and passengers.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Conduct routine checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition before use.
• Adhere to the manufacturers recommendations for service, maintenance, and inspection.
• Report any defects or issues that may impact the safe operation of the vehicle to the relevant department.
• Reporting:
• Report traffic violations promptly to the HR and Admin department.
• Provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely reports of any accidents or incidents involving the company vehicle.
• Compliance:
• Ensure possession of a valid drivers licence appropriate for the class of vehicle being operated.
• Maintain all necessary documents and permits required for the role.

Job Specification:

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

• A valid driving licence appropriate for operating vans.
• Proven ability to drive vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents or concerns.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦106,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
