Job Overview:

We are seeking a patient, skilled, and creative Baby Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and toddlers, capturing their unique moments with care and artistry. You will create stunning photographs that preserve cherished memories while ensuring the safety and comfort of the little ones during the shoot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photography Sessions:
• Plan, organize, and execute baby photography sessions in studios, homes, or outdoor locations.
• Use creative ideas to capture the best moments of babies, focusing on expressions, moods, and details.
• Baby Safety and Comfort:
• Ensure the babys safety and comfort throughout the session.
• Work closely with parents to accommodate their needs and expectations.
• Set and Props Design:
• Design and arrange creative and age-appropriate sets using props, backdrops, and lighting.
• Incorporate themes or special requests from clients into the shoot.
• Photo Editing:
• Edit and retouch images using professional software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Deliver high-quality, polished photographs that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Client Interaction:
• Consult with clients before the session to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.
• Build a positive rapport with parents and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Handle and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in photography technology and tools.
• Portfolio Development:
• Maintain and update a professional portfolio showcasing baby photography work.
• Use the portfolio to attract new clients and promote services.

Key Requirements:

• Technical Skills:
• Proven experience in baby and child photography.
• Proficiency with DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and photo editing software.
• Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, and color correction techniques.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional patience and ability to work with infants and toddlers in unpredictable situations.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with parents and children.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients.
• Experience & Education:
• Professional training or certification in photography is preferred.
• A portfolio showcasing a variety of baby photography projects is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with newborn photography, including posing and handling delicate infants.
• Knowledge of safe practices and positioning for newborns and young children.
• Familiarity with themed and milestone photography (e.g., cake smash, first birthdays).
• Ability to manage props and costumes effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
