Role Description
The Business Development Executive is responsible for creating, identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities that generate new revenue streams for the company. This role manages sales and marketing initiatives to achieve growth objectives.
Role Summary
- Developing and executing business development strategies to onboard new training and development clients for our firm in Nigeria.

- Build a solid pipeline of leads through existing business networks, contacts referrals, and cold outreach.
- Leverage existing relationships and contacts in the training and development sectors to identify potential clients for our services.
- Set up workshops, presentations and large scale pitches while attending industry events, conferences, and seminars to network.
- Conduct presentations, pitches, one-on-one meetings, and products to prospects, to demonstrate our capabilities, trustworthiness, and value proposition.
- Close and onboard new clients.
- Manage the client acquisition process from lead to closure. Grow and retain the client base by building strong relationships, ensuring top service, and cross-selling additional offerings.
- Continuously analyse performance and find ways to improve lead generation numbers and conversion rates.
- Evaluate current business performance and maximize business reach and potential.
- Constantly develop and explore new ideas.
- Research on Competitors and ways to bring in more sales and business.
- Strategize on ways to keep the company relevant in the field.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and annual progress and profitability reports to key stakeholders.
- Continually think of innovative ways to improve existing services and develop new ones.
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on their business needs.
- Become a subject matter expert on the Organisations business products, processes and operations.
- Consistently remain up-to-date on industry news and changes.
- Perform Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Client (B2C) Sales.
- Develop Proposals for key business opportunity areas
Personal Requirements
- BSc in a related field
- 3-4 years evidenced experience in sales or business development in the
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Motivated self-starter with the drive to meet acquisition goals
- Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales, or relevant role Knowledge of sales processes, business development techniques, and marketing principles
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, persistence, and strong drive for results
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
