Overview:

UNICCON Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to lead our sales efforts in the tech training sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and a passion for education technology. This role involves driving sales of our tech training programs, developing and executing strategic business plans, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for tech training programs.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the tech training sector.

3. Lead the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.

Client Relationship Management:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.

2. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

3. Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Market Research and Analysis:

1. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the tech training industry.

2. Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for growth.

3. Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership and Development:

1. Manage and mentor a team of business development associates and sales representatives.

2. Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

3. Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

1. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.

2. Collaborate with the product development team to gather feedback and improve training offerings.

3. Coordinate with the customer support team to address client issues and enhance service delivery.

Reporting and Performance Tracking:

1. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

2. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

3. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the EdTech or tech training industry.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
