Communications and Media Expert

• The Communications and Media Expert will lead the development and execution of innovative communication strategies to engage stakeholders, enhance project visibility, and ensure consistent messaging.
• This role demands expertise in content creation, media relations, and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Craft compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, reports, newsletters, and social media.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
• Develop crisis communication plans to address potential challenges and mitigate risks.
• Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with journalists, handling inquiries, and coordinating press events.
• Oversee the development of branding and marketing materials to ensure consistency and professionalism.
• Provide communication support for internal teams to enhance project collaboration and alignment.
• Stay updated on trends in digital media, public relations, and communications to apply best practices.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Masters Degree in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or Corporate Communications are advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in communications, media strategy, or public relations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on clarity and impact.
• Strong knowledge of digital media tools, platforms, and analytics.
• Experience in branding, stakeholder engagement, and public speaking.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local and international media landscapes.
