Company Description

Toraaah is a platform that improves how people grow in their Faith by providing them access to verified sermons via video or audio, and improving how the access and engage with the sermons. We collaborate with ministers, churches, and Christian organizations to spread sermons and messages worldwide.

Role Description

This is an Internship remote role for a Django Developer at Toraaah. The intern will be responsible for writing python, django code for developing scalable back-end applications on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Django-rest-framework
  • Software Development and Programming skills
  • Experience with databases and RDBMS
  • Understanding of Django ORM
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program
    • Passion for technology and interest in Christian content

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose
  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions
    • Ability to learn and grow fast
