Position Title: Geologist/GeophysicistDepartment: Upstream OperationsReports To: Asset ManagerLocation: AbujaEmployment Type: Full-Time

Requirements:

  • Conduct economic evaluations of oil and gas projects, including cash flow analysis, NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Prepare production forecasts, cost estimates, and investment proposals for management review.
  • Perform hydrocarbon accounting to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of production volumes and reserves.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align technical and economic data for decision-making.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in petroleum economics/hydrocarbon accounting.

Job Scope

  • The selected professionals will be responsible for:
  • Planning, supervising, and executing drilling operations in line with project objectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Providing technical oversight and decision-making to minimize operational risks and optimize performance.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of drilling program.
