Job Role: Accounts Officer (Inventory Specialist)

Industry: Retail (Sports Equipment & Accessories)Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Officer specializing in inventory monitoring and reconciliation to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Igbo and English, reside close to Surulere, and be ready to resume immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track inventory movement across the store and warehouse.
  • Reconcile inventory records with actual stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock reports.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to stock and purchases.
  • Collaborate with the storekeeper and sales team to ensure proper stock management.
  • Assist in periodic stock audits and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and inventory control policies.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in Igbo and English.
  • Reside close to Surulere, Lagos.
  • Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory monitoring and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Must be ready to resume immediately.

Salary:

₦100,000 - ₦120,000 monthly.
