Job Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time

Duties / Responsibilities

• Facilitate the identification of potential risks across all aspects of the organization, including operational, financial, legal, reputational, and strategic risks.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks.
• Utilize risk assessment methodologies to prioritize risks based on their severity.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified risks, including preventive, detective, and corrective controls.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and execute risk mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Regularly review and update risk assessments to reflect changing business conditions and emerging risks.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key risk trends and mitigation actions.
• Allocate resources effectively to prioritize risk mitigation activities.
• Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) to monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain a robust Enterprise Risk Management framework aligned with industry best practices.
• Ensure effective communication and integration of the ERM framework across all organizational levels.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with various departments to identify and manage risks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree with 7- 10 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex risks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey risk information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to generate insights from risk data.
• Experience in project management to oversee risk mitigation initiatives.
• Relevant industry knowledge and experience depending on the organizations focus.
