We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer/Developer to join our team and help us craft intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning interfaces for our web and mobile applications.

Job Overview

As a UI/UX Designer/Developer at Smahile Hub, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with our AI/ML engineers, product teams, and developers to ensure that our applications not only look exceptional but also offer seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Interface (UI) Design

• Design visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all products.

2. User Experience (UX) Research and Design

• Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and workflows to guide design decisions.
• Analyze feedback and data to improve user experience continually.

3. Front-End Development (Optional but Preferred)

• Collaborate with developers to implement designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Ensure responsive and cross-platform compatibility of all designs.
• Optimize UI elements for speed, accessibility, and performance.

4. AI/ML Integration

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to design user interfaces that integrate intelligent features.
• Develop interfaces for data visualization and interactive AI-driven components.

5. Collaboration and Testing

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and AI/ML specialists, to align design goals with project objectives.
• Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate design choices.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and test results.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in tech or AI-powered applications.

Core Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are a plus.
• Familiarity with prototyping and user testing methodologies.
• Experience designing for cross-platform applications (web, mobile, desktop).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML-driven products or data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of modern design trends and frameworks.
• Proficiency in motion design tools like Adobe After Effects or Lottie is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: ₦150,000 - ₦250,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
