Cook (Line Cook, Commis Chef)

Location: Kano State, NigeriaJob Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking meals as per the resorts standards while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes as assigned by the Chef.
  • Ensure food is cooked and presented according to the resorts quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas.
  • Follow food safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
  • Assist in food storage and inventory management.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE/OND in Catering or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant kitchen.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
