Seeking for candidates from Paper product manufacturing

The Maintenance Lead oversees maintenance activities within the facility, for assigned units/shift, ensuring that equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely.

Job Description

o Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment, and systems within the facility.

o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.

o Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.

o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

o Conduct safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe work environment.

o Work closely with other departments to identify maintenance needs and develop solutions.

o Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.

o Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and budget status for management review.

o Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

Minimum qualification of HND in relevant field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics) 

Strong expertise in troubleshooting mechanical systems and intermediate knowledge of electrical systems

• Diagnosing and resolving both mechanical and electrical faults.

• Applying preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

• Operating and maintaining mechanical and automated systems 

At least 5-8 years of experience in maintenance roles, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity and

coordinating between shifts. 

Experience maintaining paper product manufacturing machines is an advantage but not a compulsory requirement.
